Salty Chocolate Pretzel Popcorn

Salty & sweet is the ultimate popcorn treat! This Salted Chocolate Pretzel Popcorn recipe is the perfect Fall sweet treat with the family! Go ahead, grab a bowl!


Ingredients


–  6 cups popped popcorn

–  1 package Chocolate Almond Bark

–  15 Old Tyme Jumbo Pretzels (or any pretzel you like)

–  Coarse salt for topping


Preparation


–  Prepare popcorn

–  Melt Chocolate Almond Bark following package instructions

–  Break pretzels into bite size pieces

–  Pour chocolate over popcorn and add pretzels, stir

–  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

–  Pour popcorn over parchment and sprinkle with sea salt

–  Allow to cool

–  Enjoy!

Candy Corn Popcorn Pops

The popcorn of Fall!  These delicious Candy Corn Popcorn Pops are a fun new way to enjoy your favorite snack and candy! 😉 


Ingredients


–  6 cups prepared popcorn 

–  1 bag mini marshmallows

–  1/2 stick of butter

–  Yellow and orange (yellow + red) food coloring

–  Candy corn candies

–  Candy corn cookie cutter


Preparation


–  Prepare popcorn

–  In a medium pot over medium heat, melt butter 

–  Once butter is melted add marshmallows and stir constantly until melted

–  Divide melted marshmallow into 3 equal bowls 

–  In bowl #1 add 4-5 drops of yellow food coloring 

–  In bowl #2 add 3 drops of yellow and 2 drop of red food coloring until you have reached your desired shade of orange 

–  Do not add any food coloring to bowl #3 of marshmallow mixture

–  Divide popcorn equally into 3 bowls 

–  Pour the bowl #1 of marshmallow over bowl #1 of popcorn, and repeat for the remaining two bowls; stir until completely coated

 


Assembly Option #1


–  Spray one casserole dish with non stick spray

–  First add yellow popcorn marshmallow mixture to a thin row (taking up 1/3 of the dish) 

–  Continue with orange popcorn mixture and followed by the white popcorn (creating the color sequence of a piece of candy corn)

–  Allow to cool 

–  Once cooled, use your candy corn cookie cutter to cut your popcorn pops out

–  Using extra marshmallow mixture or melted chocolate, attach Popsicle sticks to the back of your popcorn candy corn treats 


Assembly Option #2 (what we used) 


– Take candy corn cookie cutter and spray with non stick spray 

–  Take the white popcorn and press into the tip of the candy corn mold (taking up about 1/3 of the mold)

–  Now take the orange popcorn and press into the middle of the mold (taking up another 1/3 of the mold) 

–  Lastly take the yellow popcorn press into the remaining of the candy corn mold 

–  Once all of your three color are in the mold use pressure to make sure all of the layers have stuck together 

–  Remove the popcorn from the mold and allow to cool 

–  Now repeat! 

–  Attach the Popsicle stick the same way as option #1
