Peppermint Popcorn

This festive and delicious Candy Cane Popcorn Recipe is making it’s rounds this Holiday season.  Don’t miss out on this yummy holiday treat! We also heard it’s one of Santa’s favorites ;).  


–  6 cups popped popcorn

–  1 package Vanilla Almond Bark 

–  1/2 tsp. peppermint extract 

–  20 mini candy canes (or 10 large candy canes) broke into bite size pieces 


–  Prepare popcorn

–  Melt Almond Bark in microwave following package instructions 

–  Add peppermint extract to melted almond bark and pour over popcorn, stir until evenly coated

–  Stir in candy cane pieces (adding more or less depending on your taste buds!)

–  Enjoy!

Eggnog Popcorn

Our Kernel twist on a Holiday Classic, Eggnog.  This Eggnog Popcorn is warm with bursts of rich vanilla flavor. Sit back, relax and munch of this new Holiday favorite!  Happy Holidays!


–  6 cups popped popcorn

–  1 package Vanilla Almond Bark 

–  1 package vanilla pudding mix 

–  1/2 tsp. nutmeg

–  1/4 tsp. cinnamon 

–  1/4 tsp. rum extract (available at Wal-Mart)


–  Prepare popcorn

–  Melt Almond Bark following package melting instructions 

–  Add rum extract to Almond Bark, pour over popcorn 

–  Stir until popcorn is completely coated 

–  In a small bowl add vanilla pudding, nutmeg and cinnamon 

–  Pour over popcorn and stir until completely coated 

–  Line a baking sheet with parchment and spread out popcorn to allow to set 

–  Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

A twist to your favorite classic dessert!  This Strawberry Shortcake Popcorn recipe is just in time for Summer!


–  6 cups prepared popcorn 

–  1 box strawberry Jell-o mix 

–  1 cup freeze dried strawberries 

–  Sara Lee Pound Cake (found in the freezer section) 

–  1 package White Almond Bark 


–  Prepare popcorn

–  Follow instructions on Almond Bark packaging for melting 

–  Pour popcorn and melted Almond Bark into a large bowl;stir until completely coated 

–  Add 1/2 of strawberry Jell-O mix to popcorn and stir 

–  Cut pound cake into bite size cubes (about 2 cups worth) 

–  Add pound cake and freeze dried strawberries to popcorn mixture; stir until evenly incorporated (careful not to break pound cake pieces) 

–  Spread popcorn out on parchment paper and allow Almond Bark to set 

–  Enjoy!

Mint Chocolate Chip

Homemade Mint Chocolate Chip…wait for it…. POPCORN!  Why wait until Summertime for these delicious ice cream flavors?  Say hello to delicious Mint Chocolate Chip Popcorn!  Don’t knock it until you try it 😉 


 –  6 cups prepared popcorn

–  1 bag white chocolate chips

–  6-10 mint chocolate cookies 

–  1/4 tsp mint extract 

–  Green food coloring 

–  Optional: Kernel Season’s Chocolate Drizzle Brittle 


–  Prepare popcorn 

–  Melt white chocolate chip in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds

–  Add 1-2 drops of food coloring (a little goes a long way!) and mint extract; stir until evenly distributed 

–  In a large bowl, stir melted chocolate and popcorn together until coated   

–  Add broken cookies to popcorn; stir 

–  Transfer popcorn to lined baking sheets and allow chocolate to set 

–  Optional: Drizzle with Kernel Season’s Chocolate Drizzle Brittle 🙂

Raspberry Cheesecake Popcorn Recipe
Didn’t think we could make a Raspberry Cheesecake Popcorn recipe did you? WRONG! 🙂 Leave a comment and give us another challenge or let us know what you think. Enjoy. 


– 6 cups prepared popcorn 

– 1 bag white chocolate chips

– 1/2 cup raspberry preserves 

– 1 box cheesecake flavored Jell-O pudding

– 1/2 cup graham cracker pieces 


Prepare popcorn 

– Melt white chocolate chips in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds 

– In a large bowl, stir melted chocolate and popcorn together until evenly coated 

– Sprinkle cheesecake pudding over popcorn and add graham cracker pieces, stir until mixed throughout 

– Transfer popcorn to lined baking sheets and allow chocolate set

– Warm raspberry preserves in microwave until it reaches a smooth consistency 

– Drizzle over popcorn and enjoy!
