Jalapeno Popper Popcorn

Even though it’s the end of Summer, we’re still feeling hot, hot, hot! This Jalapeño Popper Popcorn recipe will have you feeling the heat as we say goodbye to Summertime. We’re also introducing our NEW Spicy Movie Theater Butter! 


Ingredients


Jalapeno Popper Popcorn

 – 6 cups popped popcorn

Kernel Season’s Spicy Movie Theater Butter

–  1/3 cup pickled jalapeños

–  6-8 slices thick cut bacon (cooked crispy)

–  1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese


Preparation


1) Prepare popcorn. For this recipe it is important to use your stove top

1.5) Add 3 Tbsp of KS Spicy Movie Theater Butter to a large pot. Drop 3 kernels in, cover and turn heat to medium high

1.75) Once kernels have popped add 1/2 cup of kernels and shake pot gently until popping has stopped

2) Cook bacon until crispy (we prefer to cook ours in the oven at 400° for 15-20 minutes)

3) While bacon is cooking, chop pickled jalapeños into small pieces

4) Once bacon has cooled turn oven down to 250° and chop bacon into bite size pieces

5) For a little extra kick, drizzle 1-2 Tbsp of Spicy Movie Theater Butter over freshly popped popcorn

6) Now it’s time for the fun part, add chopped jalapeños and bacon to popcorn; stir until evenly incorporated

7) Once everything is set, add popcorn to a lined baking sheet, sprinkle shredded cheese on top

* We added a few sliced jalapenos on top, we like the extra heat 😉 *

8) Bake at 250° until cheese has melted

9) Add to a bowl and enjoy!

Shark Bait Popcorn Shark Bait (popcorn) HOO HA HA… name that movie! 🙂 These JAWesome Shark Bait Popcorn recipes are just in time for Shark Week 🦈! Whether you’re headed to the beach (eeep!) or spending the night in with delicious popcorn and a great white shark, we’ve got you covered! (Check out below).

Shark Bait Popcorn

–  6 cups popped popcorn

–  1 bag mini marshmallows

–  1 stick butter

–  2 Tbsp red sprinkles

–  Swedish Fish for topping


Preparation


1) Over medium heat in a large pot, melt butter

2) Once melted, add marshmallows, stirring constantly until melted

3) Add popcorn to marshmallows, stir until evenly coated

4) Spread on lined baking sheet and sprinkle with red sprinkles

5) Allow marshmallow popcorn to cool before adding to Shark Cups (shout out to Sara and her Mom Endeavors Blog for this perfect shark snack cup idea)

Popcorn Chum Bars


Now if you’re staying in and need to get the attention of your Pups (kiddos) these Popcorn Chums Bars will do just the trick!

Chum Bars Ingredients


–  6 cups popped popcorn

–  1 bag mini marshmallows

–  1 stick butter

–  1 sleeve graham crackers (crushed using a rolling pin and plastic baggie)

–  Swedish Fish or shark gummies


Preparation


1) Prepare popcorn

2) Spray  square baking dish with nonstick spray

3) Over medium heat in a large pot, melt butter

4) Once melted, add mini marshmallows and stir constantly until melted

5) Add popcorn to melted marshmallows and stir until coated evenly

6) Arrange 6-8 Swedish Fish in bottom of baking dish

7) Add popcorn, pushing down firmly into dish

8) Add graham cracker crumbs to top of popcorn and allow to cool and set

9) Once cooled, cut into bars and watch as your Pups circle!

Firecracker Popcorn Recipe

 💥 +🍿 = 🇺🇸

Let us translate… Fireworks  + Firecracker Popcorn Recipe  = One spectacular 4th of July 


Ingredients 


 6 cups popped popcorn 

–  1 package Vanilla Almond Bark 

–  Red and blue food coloring gel 

– Red, white and blue sprinkles (blue not featured in image below!)

Preparation 


1)  Prepare popcorn and divide into three bowls

2) Set aside red and blue food coloring gel

 3) Melt almond bark and divide evenly between three bowls

4) Take bowl #1 and add a small amount of blue food coloring to almond bark (we used a few drops, less is more and you can ALWAYS add more if you want a deeper, darker blue)

5) Pour blue almond bark over popcorn; stir until evenly coated

6) Spread blue popcorn on a lined baking sheet and allow to cool and set 

7) Take bowl #2 and add a small amount of red food coloring (again, less is more, start with a small amount and gradually add to it until you’ve reached your desired color)

8) Pour red almond bark over popcorn; stirring until evenly coated

9) Once fulled incorporated, spread popcorn on a lined baking sheet to allow almond bark to cool and set 

10) Last but not least! Pour remaining almond bark over remaining popcorn Firecracker Popcorn Recipe

11) Stir and set aside to cool and set

12) Once popcorn has set, grab a large mixing bowl and add red, white and blue popcorn 

13) Top with your sprinkles and enjoy your 4th of July fireworks with this Firecracker Popcorn recipe!

Unicorn Popcorn Recipe

Kids begging you for a certain beverage as of late? 🙂 Skip the small fortune and satisfy the sweet tooth with this magical Unicorn Popcorn Recipe.


Ingredients


– 6 cups popped popcorn

– 1 package strawberry (or raspberry) Jell-O

– 1 package berry blue Jell-O

– 1 package Vanilla Almond Bark

– pink and blue sprinkles

 


Preparation


– Prepare popcorn and divide into two bowls (or two Ziplock bags)

– Melt Almond Bark according to package instructions

– Pour equal parts of almond bark onto each bowl or bag of popcorn

– Stir or shake to coat popcorn evenly with melted Almond Bark

– Add Strawberry Jell-O to one bowl or bag, and stir/shake until evenly coated

– Pour Berry Blue Jell-O to the remaining bowl or bag, and stir/shake until evenly coated

– Add blue sprinkles to Berry Blue popcorn and pink sprinkles to Strawberry popcorn

– Allow almond bark to set and combine both in a large bowl

– Pop in your favorite movie and enjoy 🙂

When your favorite milkshake becomes a popcorn recipe, magical things happen. Homemade Chocolate Malted Milkshake Popcorn is going to be your new favorite sweet midnight snack, we can guarantee it! 😉 


Ingredients


–  6 cups popped popcorn

–  1 package Chocolate Almond Bark

–  1/2 cup malt powder (plus some for sprinkling on top)


Preparation


–  Prepare popcorn

–  Melt chocolate following package instructions

–  Pour over popcorn and stir until completely coated

–  Add malt powder immediately and stir

–  Line a baking sheet with parchment and spread out popcorn

–  Allow to cool and for chocolate to set before serving

–  Dust top with extra malt powder

– Enjoy!

Only a few more days until the big game, which means only a few more days to get your game day snacks ready! But, not to worry! We’ve put together a few game day inspired popcorn recipes just for you, well and for us! We like a good snack while watching football too 😉 !


Top 3 Game Day Popcorn Recipes:

–  Buffalo Ranch Wings Popcorn

–  Loaded Potato Skins Popcorn

–  Jalapeno Nachos Popcorn

Buffalo Ranch Wings Popcorn

–  Add 6 cups of popped popcorn to a bowl 

–  Spritz with Butter Spritzer or add melted butter 

–  Shake on 2 cap fulls of Buffalo Wing Seasoning (more or less depending on your desired spiciness! *Test in between shakes*)

–  Shake on 1 cap full of Ranch Seasoning

–  Mix until every kernel is covered in delicious spicy flavor

 

Loaded Potato Skins Popcorn 

–  Add 6 cups of popped popcorn to a bowl

–  Spritz with Butter Spritzer or add melted butter

–   Shake on 2 cap fulls of Bacon Cheddar Seasoning and 1 cap full of Sour Cream and Onion Seasoning (add more or less depending on personal taste)

–  Mix together and enjoy! 

Jalapeno Nachos Popcorn

–  Add 6 cups of popped popcorn to a bowl

–  Spritz with Butter Spritzer or add melted butter

–  Shake on 1 1/2 cap fulls of  Nacho Cheddar Seasoning and 1 1/2 cap fulls of Cheese Jalapeno Seasoning (this one has definitely got a kick, add more or less depending on preferred spiciness)

–  Mix and enjoy everyone’s favorite game day snack!

Cookie Dough Popcorn

Good news cookie dough eaters! This Cookie Dough Popcorn recipe does NOT need to be refrigerated or spend time baking to enjoy. 🙂


Ingredients


–  6 cups prepared popcorn 

–  1/2 package Vanilla Almond Bark

–  1 cup Cookie Butter

–  1/4 cup quick oats

–  2 boxes chocolate chip Cookie Dough Bites 


Preparation


–  Prepare popcorn and set aside 

–  Melt Almond Bark following package instructions 

–  Soften Cookie Butter in the microwave (about 30 seconds)

–  Combine Almond Bark and Cookie Butter 

–  Pour Over Popcorn

–  Add Quick Oats

–  Stir until evenly combined and add chocolate chip Cookie Dough Bites to popcorn

–  Spread popcorn on parchment paper to cool and wait for Almond Bark to set (if you can! 😉 )

Frankenstein Popcorn

Halloween is almost here and we have a scary good popcorn recipe for just for you! This Monster Popcorn will have it’s eye on you this Halloween! Can you guess what monster we picked? 😉 


Ingredients


–  6 cups popped popcorn

–  1 box green (lime) Jell-O mix

–  Package Vanilla Almond Bark

–  Green food coloring

–  Halloween eyeball candies

–  1/4 cup granulated sugar

–  Purple food coloring (red and blue mixed)


Preparation


–  Prepare Popcorn

–  Melt almond bark following package instructions

–  Add green food coloring until desired color (we used about 8-10 drops)

–  Pour green almond bark over popcorn, stir until completely coated

–  Sprinkle lime Jell-O mixture over popcorn, stir

–  Spread popcorn on a lined baking sheet and allow to set

–  Add sugar to a small zip-lock, add red and blue food coloring and shake, shake, shake until sugar turns purple

–  Once popcorn has set toss in eyeball candies until desired spookiness 🙂

–  Add popcorn to serving bowl and top with purple sugar

Chocolate Hazelnut Popcorn

The famous chocolate hazelnut spread has made it’s way to popcorn and we’re not mad about it!  Chocolate Hazelnut Popcorn is a must for your weekend movie night!  


Ingredients


– 6 cups popped popcorn

– Vanilla Almond Bark (1/2 of a package)

– 3/4 chocolate hazelnut spread

Kernel Season’s Chocolate Drizzle Brittle 


Preparation 


– Prepare popcorn

– Melt almond bark, following instructions on package

– Melt chocolate hazelnut spread and add to almond bark 

– Pour over popcorn and stir until evenly coated 

– Spread popcorn over parchment paper and allow to cool 

– Drizzle with Chocolate Drizzle Brittle

– Enjoy!

Butterbeer Popcorn

Movie Marathon ready with these delicious homemade Butterbeer Popcorn Bars.  Can you guess the movie? Happy weekend everyone, enjoy! 


Ingredients


– 6 cups popped popcorn

– 1 stick of butter (melted)

– 1 bag of mini marshmallows

– 1 cup butterscotch chips

– 1 tsp butter extract


Preparation


– Prepare popcorn

– In a medium pot, over medium heat, melt butter

– Once butter is melted, add marshmallows, butterscotch chips and butter extract

– Stir until melted together 

– Pour over popcorn, stir

– Line a baking dish with parchment paper and press popcorn into an even layer

– Allow to cool before cutting into squares

– Time to eat!
