Maple Pecan Popcorn


Treat your taste-buds to this homemade Maple Pecan Popcorn Recipe!¬†ūüćāūüćĀ¬†


 Maple Pecan Popcorn


Ingredients


For Maple Popcorn 

– 6 cups popped popcorn

Р1 cup brown sugar packed 

– 1/2 cup maple syrup

Р 1/2 stick of butter 

Candied Pecans 

Р 1 cup pecan halves 

Р 1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar

Р 1 1/2 tsp water

Р1/4 tsp maple syrup 

Р 1/8 tsp salt


 Preparation 


 РPrepare popcorn 

Р For candied pecans, in a medium skillet over medium/low heat, toast pecans until fragrant (about 5 minutes) 

Р While toasting pecans, in a small bowl, mix brown sugar, water, maple syrup and salt

Р Remove pecans from heat and add maple sugar mixture, stirring constantly

Р Once sugar mixture has hardened to pecans, spread on a baking sheet to cool 

Maple Pecan Popcorn

Р In a large pot, melt butter, brown sugar and maple syrup 

РAllow to simmer for 5 minutes 

Р Add 1 tsp. baking soda and stir, mixture will expand

Р Remove from heat, add popcorn and stir until event coated 

Р Spread on a baking sheet to allow to cool and set 

Р Once everything has cooled, chop pecans into bite size pieces and mix into popcorn

Put the lime in the coconut and make it into popcorn! Homemade Coconut Lime Popcorn straight from the islands to your taste buds! 


Ingredients


Р 6 cups popped popcorn

Р 2 limes (zest and juice)

Р 1 package Vanilla Almond Bark

Р 1 cup shredded coconut (toasted) 


Preparation


Р Prepare popcorn

Р Over low heat with a small frying pan, toast coconut (tossing constantly) 

Р Zest and juice both limes

Р Add coconut, lime juice and zest to a bowl; stir and set aside

Р Melt Almond Bark following package instructions

Р Pour Almond Bark over popcorn and stir

Р Add half of the coconut mixture to the popcorn, saving remaining for topping

Р Allow almond bark to set and top with remaining coconut lime mixture

– ¬†Enjoy the tastes and smells of the islands ūüėČ

¬†Spring Break isn’t over yet! This Boozy Banana Popcorn Recipe will be sure to take your taste buds back to the tropics! ūüôā¬†


Ingredients


Р 6 cups popped popcorn

Р 1 stick of butter

– 1/2 cup brown sugar

Р 1/4 cup corn syrup

Р 1 shot of dark rum

Р 1 Tbsp. baking soda

– 1 1/2 cups banana chips


Preparation


Р Prepare popcorn

Р Over medium heat, melt butter and sugar

Р Once sugar has dissolved, add corn syrup and rum (alcohol cooks out)

Р Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes

Р Add baking soda, mixture will expand

Р In a large bowl add popcorn and banana chips

Р Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and stir until completely covered

Р Spread onto a lined baking sheet and allow to cool before serving

Р ENJOY!

Р For an alternative: Replace shot of run with 1/4 tsp. rum extract

Ingredients


Р 6 cups popped popcorn

Р 1 stick butter

Р 1 bag mini marshmallows

Р 1 sleeve of graham crackers (crushed)

Р chocolate bar, shaved


Preparation


Р Prepare popcorn

Р Over medium heat in a large pot, melt butter and marshmallows

Р Once melted completely, add popcorn

Р Use your muscles to stir!

– ¬†Preheat oven ¬†to 250¬į

Р Add crushed graham crackers to popcorn and stir until completely coated

Р Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out the popcorn

Р Bake for 15 Р20 minutes

Р Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly, shave chocolate on top

– ¬†Enjoy an ooey, gooey, delicious s’mores popcorn treat

Dutch Apple Pie Popcorn

It wouldn’t be the Thanksgiving holiday without delicious apple pie! Well, we’re switching it up just a bit this year. Send warm welcomes to our Dutch Apple Pie Popcorn recipe. This is a must for your Thanksgiving feast.¬†


Ingredients


Р 6 cups prepared popcorn

Streusel:

Р 1/3 cups brown sugar

Р 1/3 cup granulated sugar

Р 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)

Р 1 1/2 cups flour

Caramel Apple Sauce:

Р 1/4 cup apple juice

Р 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)

Р 1 cup brown sugar

Р 1/4 cup corn syrup

Р *Optional: 1 cap-full apple extract (candy and baking flavoring Рavailable at Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby)


Preparation


Р Prepare popcorn

– ¬†Preheat oven to 250¬į

Р Mix brown sugar, sugar, and butter (1/2 cup) with a mixer

Р Once incorporated, add flour until mixture creates small clumps

Р Spread streusel mixture into an even layer on baking sheet

Р Bake for 10 minutes

Р Over medium heat in a medium sauce pan, melt butter (1/4 cup)

Р Add sugar and apple juice and allow to simmer for 5 minutes

Р Add corn syrup and stir until evenly incorporated

Р Take off heat and add apple extract

Р Pour apple caramel mixture over popcorn; stir

Р Spread popcorn onto a lined baking sheet and add streusel on top

– ¬†Bake at 250¬į for 10 minutes

Maple Bacon Popcorn

What do you call maple popcorn with candied bacon?  AMAZING, seriously amazing!  Give it a try and find out for yourself how delicious this Maple Bacon Popcorn recipe really is. 


Ingredients


Р 6 cups popped popcorn

Р 8 slices of thick cut bacon

Р 1/4 cup brown sugar (to sprinkle on bacon)

Р 2 Tbsp maple syrup (to drizzle on bacon)

Р 1 cup brown sugar

Р 1/2 stick of butter

Р 1/3 cup maple syrup

Р 1 tsp baking soda


Preparation


Р Prepare popcorn

– ¬†Preheat over to 350¬į

Р Line baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack

Р Place bacon in a single layer

Р Sprinkle with brown sugar and drizzle on maple syrup

Р Bake bacon for 20 minutes or until fully cooked

Р Allow to cool and for sugar to set and harden before ripping into bite size pieces

Р In a medium saucepan, melt butter

Р Add remaining brown sugar and maple syrup

Р Allow mixture to boil for 5 minutes, add baking soda and stir (mixture will expand!)

Р Pour maple sugar mixture over popcorn and stir until evenly coated

Р Stir in bacon pieces (saving a few pieces to top off the bowl) until completely incorporated

Р Enjoy!
