Baked BBQ Chicken
3 Tablespoons of seasoning and 1 cup of bread crumbs and 2 eggs. Place seasoning and bread crumbs in a bowl or plastic bag. Blend well. Wisk eggs in a bowl. Set aside for later use. Wash and cut chicken (cut into cubes or strips). Dry with paper-towel. Place chicken in egg wash and be certain all sides are coated. Roll in bread crumb mixture. To make a crispier breading on the chicken, roll back in the egg wash and again in breadcrumbs. Place into 375° oven for a total of 40 minutes (or until done). Turn half way through. Sprinkle additional seasoning on top of chicken after it has been removed from the oven.
Delicious Dressing and Dip:
Yields approximately 1 cup. 1/4 cup buttermilk, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup mayonnaise (not miracle whip), 3 tablespoons Kernel Seasons Barbecue seasoning Mix and serve chilled. Great with deep fried onion rings, chicken strips etc. also good as a salad dressing.
Surprise Barbeque Hamburgers
Prepare two thin hamburgers. Sprinkle the top of one very generously with Barbecue seasoning. Place the
un-seasoned burger on top of the seasoned burger. Pinch and seal edges together. Broil, grill or fry.
Barbeque Seasoned Stuffing
1 14 ½ oz can of chicken broth, 3 Tablespoons butter, 4 cups of unseasoned cubed bread for stuffing, 4 Tablespoons of Barbeque seasoning. Try adding nuts or vegetables to make this stuffing a favorite for your family. Pour the can of chicken broth and the butter into a pan and heat until it boils. Remove from heat and add the bread cubes and seasonings. This can be baked in a casserole dish, muffin pan (individual serving sizes) or into your favorite turkey or chicken. If baking in the oven, bake at 375 F for 25 minutes or until done.
Barbeque Potato Chips
Wash and clean potato(s)
Peel if desired
Slice potatoes very thinly. Keep in a bowl of cold water.
Set up deep fryer and turn on to 375°F. When oil is hot, place in sliced potatoes one at a time. Chips will fry
quickly. Watch them closely so that they do not burn. When edges are brown, remove from hot oil and place on towel
paper to dry. Immediately sprinkle generously with seasoning.
Barbecue Cheese Fondue/Spread
For each 4 oz of melted Velveeta; add 3 tsp. of Kernel Seasons Barbecue Seasoning. Add 1/4 of browned ground beef. Stir and keep warm over low heat (In a fondue pan or in a pan over the stove top). Stir periodically. Serve on favorite cracker or chip.
