Maple Pecan Popcorn

Treat your taste-buds to this homemade Maple Pecan Popcorn Recipe! 🍂🍁 

 Maple Pecan Popcorn


For Maple Popcorn 

– 6 cups popped popcorn

– 1 cup brown sugar packed 

– 1/2 cup maple syrup

–  1/2 stick of butter 

Candied Pecans 

–  1 cup pecan halves 

–  1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar

–  1 1/2 tsp water

– 1/4 tsp maple syrup 

–  1/8 tsp salt


 – Prepare popcorn 

–  For candied pecans, in a medium skillet over medium/low heat, toast pecans until fragrant (about 5 minutes) 

–  While toasting pecans, in a small bowl, mix brown sugar, water, maple syrup and salt

–  Remove pecans from heat and add maple sugar mixture, stirring constantly

–  Once sugar mixture has hardened to pecans, spread on a baking sheet to cool 

Maple Pecan Popcorn

–  In a large pot, melt butter, brown sugar and maple syrup 

– Allow to simmer for 5 minutes 

–  Add 1 tsp. baking soda and stir, mixture will expand

–  Remove from heat, add popcorn and stir until event coated 

–  Spread on a baking sheet to allow to cool and set 

–  Once everything has cooled, chop pecans into bite size pieces and mix into popcorn
